As soon as college football season begins, there is another exciting time of year that is shortly behind it. Hunting season in Texas! 

Hunting Season 
From getting a few hours of sleep the night before, to the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the twilight hours, to riding out in my Can-Am Defender Max Lone Star towards the post, and the sound of twigs cracking from an approaching deer. Hunting offers an experience that one truly treasures. As a born and raised Texan, hunting is a huge part of my family. It is a time to get together and enjoy a shared interest for the great outdoors. Hunters have an unsurpassable amount of love for both nature and animals and we strongly support the wild life conservation.

Texas is known to hold the largest whitetail herd in the nation as it is home to more than 3.6 million whitetails. Of the 254 counties in Texas, whitetail deer are found in more than 200 of them. Overall, Texas spans over 267,000 miles or 171.9 million acres. Your typical hunter would prefer to measure in acres. The geography of the Lone Star State is split up into four major regions: Gulf Coastal Plains, Interior Lowlands, Great Plains, and Basin and Range Province. With this type of range, Texas offers mountains, marshes, rivers, swamps, plains, plateaus, forests, deserts, and prairies. As we like to say “Everything is bigger in Texas!”

There is nothing like riding with the cool Texas air in your face before the sun comes up enroute to the morning hunt.
