Let’s celebrate the roads we’ve blazed in 2021! Some of our most memorable moments this year were catching up around campfires at Hay Days, off-road races across dunes of the American Southwest, riding along the hilltops of the Appalachian trail, and reuniting with our fellow riders in Canada. Let's take a look at the most memorable moments of 2021 and see what we were able to achieve together! Backwoods Promotions was able to expand its network of Enthusiasts First® across North America. As we take a look at the year coming to a close we want to highlight a few adventures, accomplishments, and most importantly the outdoor spirit that brought us here.

This year our event staffing company earned a Gold Stevie® Award in the 2021 International Business Awards® and a People’s Choice Stevie® Award for Favorite Company. More than 3,700 nominations were submitted to this year’s International Business Awards by organizations in more than 60 nations and territories! The Stevie® Awards recognize outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide, honoring organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them. 

CEO, Jessica Kline, was also selected to be a speaker at the fourth annual Women Future Conference. The Women Future Conference is a professional and personal development, learning, networking and mentorship program hosted by the Stevie® Awards. Jessica was selected as a panelist to discuss “Women Leading in a Male Dominated Industry” along with Gina Osborn and Sarah Sagredo-Hammond. 

 “I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences working in the motorsports industry, and while we’ve certainly come a long way with recognizing women in motorsports (especially with the help of social media), we still have a ways to go. I’m excited to share my thoughts, perspective and position on future trends. It’s going to be a great event!” said Jessica Kline. 

For the last seven years, Backwoods Promotions has consistently provided event and promotional staff for Hay Days Snowmobile Drag Races by connecting staff with a passion for snowmobiling and motorsports to vendors. In 20201, Backwoods Promotions was named the featured promotional staffing supplier for Hay Days! This grass drag race marks the unofficial start of winter in Minnesota and has become the largest snowmobile and powersports related swap meet. 

Let’s talk about off-road events! Our event staff travelled to King of Hammers, the “toughest one day off-road race in the world”, Mud Nationals, Rally at the Mines, SXS Adventure Rally and Rally at the Rocks - just to name a few! We then hopped on the rodeo train starting at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and followed the PBR: Unleash the Beast tour as it made its way across the United States. This tour would later come to a culmination in Las Vegas at the World Finals! We also partnered with Ford Bronco for a ride-and-drive national tour, where we got to experience everything the reimagined Ford Bronco has to offer off and on road!

On-road we were part of the Fuel Good Tour put on by The Moto Social and Harley-Davidson Canada. The Moto Social is a global motorcycle initiative that is dedicated to building community and connecting people. This national tour lasted through the fall and brought motorsports enthusiasts to the front doors of small businesses across Canada. 

Our event staff also followed the snow from the New England states, across the midwest and to the Rocky Mountains as BRP introduced Lynx to North America! Lynx, a best selling European brand, brings a new Nordic riding experience to the US and Canada. This move marks the first time in decades that a new sled brand has been introduced to the market!

Lastly, there wouldn’t be snow without the sea… Our event staff travelled North America following product launches on the new Sea-Doo Switch. The Switch, a product of BRP, is unlike anything else on the market and offers people the unique experience of driving a pontoon with the same controls as a Sea-Doo watercraft. The pontoon comes in three different models (Switch, Switch Sport, and Switch Cruise) and offers something for everyone! Whether you’re into R&R or high-octane water sports like wake-boarding or water skiing the possibilities are endless.
