There’s nothing like the wind in your face, and the power you have when you blip the throttle of your motorcycle. The adventures you’ll go on, and the people you will meet are life changing. Whether you enjoy ATVing, snowmobiling, or the motorcycle lifestyle, it sure is amazing when you can connect with others around your passion.

We’ve built our company culture around supporting lifestyle brand ambassadors and enthusiasts alike. Many of our staff ride or enjoy the thrill of motorsports, and so we love to support that passion and introduce new people to the sport. If you’ve been thinking about getting your motorcycle license, check out our top 5 reasons why we support and encourage you to do so. And as always, ride safely, with proper gear, and within your limits.

1. Explore New Places - At the end of the day, it is easier to explore places on a two or three-wheeled motorcycle compared to a larger vehicle. Oftentimes, motorcycle-only parking is available and closer to a destination vs. a larger car lot that you may need to walk further to. Many times, we've been able to access festival or event parking easier on a motorcycle. Motorcycle friendly towns or destinations often cater to riders, so do your research before you ride to find to find a place that suits you

2. Network With Other Riders - Everytime we pull into a parking lot, whether at a coffee shop, burger joint, or just a random road stop, usually other riders want to talk. "Where are you from? What is your story? How long have you been riding?" are questions we often get asked. It's the networking and camaraderie that makes those life long connections that we’ve come to appreciate.  I know that every time I ride to southern California, I have a place to stay if needed, because of rider friends I met there years ago and have stayed in touch with. The network extends beyond your area because chances are, if you're stuck on the side of the road on a road trip (let’s hope not though!), someone you know, knows someone, who can help you out.

3. Save Money - Sure it might not seem like it, especially if you've just purchased a new bike, new gear, and live in an area where motorcycle insurance is higher. However, at the end of the day, the cost savings is something to consider especially if you are going to use a motorcycle for your primary means of transportation. Commuting to work on a motorcycle will save you gas money and likely parking costs as well.

4. Empowerment & Wellness - Have you ever heard the terms "Motorcycle Therapy" or talked to someone who just smiles and says "nothing will ever explain the feeling you get on a motorcycle?" It's true. That wind in your face, fresh smell, feeling of being free, is a real thing. You might just feel it during your 30 minute commute, or it might be something that affects you for the rest of the day, week, or longer. The empowerment and overall impact on your personal well being is something that one must consider or yearn when contemplating buying a motorcycle.

5. Eco-friendly - Sure we may not think of this as a primary reason to get a motorcycle license, but at the end of the day, motorcycles emit less gasoline emissions and certainly don't clog up the freeway as much as cars or trucks do. If you purchase an electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire, then you're on a whole other level as well!
